    Howdy folks…

I´m just back from a huge company picnic with about 3000 People, where i and a couple of my teammates were invited to show and teach some grilling and barbecue stuff to the crowd.

It was great fun and everyone loved the food.

First , heres some pics of our “snack” we had while prepearing all the stuff
the night before the picnic. Beef tenderloin, grilled indirect and then smeared with roasted garlic and EVO. Mighty tasty.

Sorry for the poor photography, we´ve been really busy with all that stuff 😉

Heres the next day (after about 2 hours of sleep…):

Frontier loaded with 23 racks of baby backs, wich were soaked in apple juice, beer and a couple of spices over night

    Beer can chicken

A real PITA : Cutting the Bratwurst for nice presentation and a crispier crust

    Cedar planked salmon

    Flat Cornbread with olives

    More Cow

Pineapple with Grapes, they get a dusting of powdered sugar, cinnamon and chillie powder and are grilled then. Excellent stuff

Heres the Bratwurst, grilled indirect and basted with a aplle juice/maple sirup mixture. We grilled some tortillas
, put some Rucola and grilled pineapple slices (dusted like above) inside, added the bratwurst, topped with a home made honey mustard sauce, rolled them and then served as fingerfood.

The crowd went nuts over them

3 (of 18 total) Beer can chickens

Beef tenderloin, cooked whole and as steaks. 12 Pounds total

    The salmon is done

    Some more seafood

New way to clean a griddle

Some pics of the event from the tribune (taken in between the shows)

    Two generations cooking along

    more salmon

    Ribs

    More ribs

We also made dozens of our grilled chocolate pralines

Those were gone in seconds, like usual

The flintstones also came for a chat

It was a great event with lots of fun and lots of work.
I wish i had the time to take more pics or take a look around the site, but we were way too busy for that.

    Hope you enjoyed the pics.

    (

There were ~3000 People at the picnic, but (luckyly) we didnt have to completely feed them all.
There were other stands wich pizza, bratwurst, fish and other things, and we did a show on grilling and fed the crowd with samples.

Anyway, we gave more than 1000 samples to the crowd and had to show the all the tricks about grilling
    and barbecue.

Yeah Don…. But all those other booths were “junk food” compared to yours. [+] I know which booth I would have visited frequently. :_;(

    Outstanding job as usual!!!
